What is ARTWALK? ARTWALK, the St. Clair Arts Festival and Studio Tour is an annual community Arts Festival celebrating our diversity and cultural heritage through the ARTS. It is a multi-disciplinary arts event. St. Clair Arts Festival and Studio Tour exists in order that we may build a greater sense of community by celebrating our cultural identity and diversity through the arts. Our focus is to build a local partnership between businesses, artists and the community with the goal to strengthen the local economy and showcase local achievements, heritage and culture.
When does ARTWALK take place? 2008 Fundraiser: Thursday, May 22 2008 Festival: September 27/28
Where does the ARTWALK festival take place? Events take place both on the streets and inside participating art studios, businesses, restaurants, etc., along St. Clair Ave West. See the program guide for details. ARTWALK encompasses the St. Clair Avenue West area from approximately Bathurst to Oakwood/Davenport Road to Cedarvale Ravine.
Who organizes the ARTWALK festival? ARTWALK is organized by volunteers from our community. Anyone is welcome to submit a volunteer application form. Volunteer Managers direct the various programs/aspects of the festival while managing and supporting the volunteers working alongside them.
