|About Sam\'s Hardware||
Started more than 20 years ago by Sam Moreno, this fine example of an independent neighbourhood hardware store is now owned and operated by David Kresz, a long-time local resident.
The store boasts a wide range of those things you need for a home repair or to complete that gardening or home improvement project, including tools, lightbulbs, nails and screws, nuts and bolts, paint, stain, brushes, chain, rope and much much more.
In addition, Sam's carries a wide assortment of 'not so easy to find' items such as stove-top espresso makers, tomato presses, poppyseed grinders, wine-making supplies, galvanized steel tubs and washboards. It is simply amazing what there is in such a small space.
Services at the store include key-making, glass-cutting, used battery disposal, screen repair, lawnmower sharpening, sewing machine repair and more.
If you need some advice on your chore or project, David brings his wide-ranging experience with home improvement and maintenance to the challenge at hand.
At Sam's the emphasis is on customer service, community involvement, environmental consciousness and encouraging the arts. If you are an artist be sure to ask about Sam's special discount.
Located in the Regal Heights area of St Clair Ave W, between Oakwood and Dufferin, Sam's Hardware is easily accessible by streetcar or by foot, as every neighbourhood hardware store should be. There's free delivery for orders in the local area.
Drop by the next time you need something.
