Stop
the Presses!
Stop the Construction!
Stop the TTC!
Rona has just heard that SOS (Save Our St. Clair)
has gotten an injunction to stop construction
of the Streetcar Dedicated Right -of-Way.
SOS won the right to postpone the beginning
of the construction until at least the first
week of October.
Supposedly, the TTC only did one portion of
the four required Environment Studies,Traffic,
and they pushed through their plan for the DROW
without finishing the other three studies.
Obviously a judge agreed with SOS and will allow
them to submit their proof at the next court
date.
How far will SOS. get with the court challenges
and what about the repairs that have to be done
anyways?
What about all those rails blocking lanes of
traffic on St. Clair?
