Donations For Tsunami Relief

One of the easiest ways to donate is also the safest – cold, hard cash at your local police station.

A number of organizations are accepting donations in the wake of the tsunami in South Asia on Sunday December 26th.


Canadian Red Cross

Canadians wishing to make a financial donation may donate at www.redcross.ca , call 1-800-418-1111 or contact your local Canadian Red Cross Office.

The 24-hour toll free line accepts Visa and MasterCard. Cheques should be made payable to the Canadian Red Cross, earmarked "South East Asia Earthquake and Tidal Wave Relief" and mailed to Canadian Red Cross National Office,

Royal Thai Embassy Relief Fund

The Thai Society of Ontario, with the Royal Thai Embassy, is raising funds to send to agencies in Thailand to provide drinking water for the survivors
of the earthquake/tsunami.

If you wish to contribute to this fund, please send a cheque or money order, made out to: 

“Royal Thai Embassy Relief Fund”, and mailed to:  Royal Thai Embassy,

Ottawa, ON   K1Y 2A0.

Please include your return address, as the Embassy will send you a letter of
acknowledgement.
