The
students of St Clare Catholic School were busy
this season decorating the Christmas
trees of St Clair.
The
trees are part of the holiday promotion organized
by the St Clair West BIA, which runs from Westmount
to Glenholme - between Dufferin and Oakwood.
"The
kids really loved it", says St Clare's
Principal Anthony Scopa, "it would be good
to do it next year again."
"Not
only did the kids have a good time", adds
Joe Nunez, Chair of the BIA and owner of Superlatin
Music, "but they really helped bring the
joy of the season to our street."
The
other part of the program was to prepare some
song sheets with the lyrics for all your favourite
Holiday Carols. The song sheets were then distributed
to the schools, churches and neighbourhood groups
- as well as the individuals customers by the
merchants of the BIA.
If
you feel the urge to sing - but worried you
won't remember the words - then pick up a song
sheet from any of the merchants
of the St Clair West BIA.
While
you're there be sure to check out the Christmas
trees of Ct Clair - each one is truly a work
of art.
