The Toronto
Eductional Opportunity Fund (TEOF) is a charitable foundation
which has been providing support for child nutrition programs
in the kindergartens of inner city schools for more than 20
years. Children who come to school hungry, cannot learn. We
are trying to change that for as many children as we can afford
to feed.
That's where you come in. Every year, TEOF holds a fundraising
auction in order to support our activities. This year it is
on Friday, November 14, 2003 , at the Fountain
Dining Room, Queen Elizabeth Building, on the CNE grounds.
You can help by doing one, or both, of two things.
You can attend the auction. Tickets are $35 and include free
parking, a buffet supper, an auction catalogue, door prizes,
and an opportunity to meet lots of very interesting people.
If you would like to attend, please let me know, either by
email or telephone (416 656-3245) and I will see that you
get your ticket(s).
As well, you can contribute to the auction. We need things
to put up for auction, things such as oil or water colour
paintings, prints, stained glass, carvings, sculptures, quilts,
antiques, useful household products, special event items such
as theatre performances, Blue Jay, Leafs and Raptor tickets,
dinner certificates, etc. If you are downsizing or clearing
out an estate, or just want to get rid of some valuable stuff,
we will give you a tax deduction certificate in return. If
you have any items to contribute, again, please let me know
by email or telephone (416 656-3245) and I will arrange to
have it picked up.

by the kids we feed.
