OMB Session on Drive-Thru Bylaw

The
OMB hearing examining the Drive-Thru bylaw, will be holding
a public session on the evening of Wed October 8th at the
following location:
Ontario
Municipal Board Offices
655 Bay St., 16th Floor

The
Ontario Municipal Board hearing regards the Drive Through Bylaw
that was passed by Toronto City Council in September 2002 disallowing
drive-throughs within 30 metres (100 feet) of residential areas,
which is being challenged by a number of retail interests.
It
is our understanding that the session, originally scheduled
for tomorrow, (Wed Oct 1st) provides an opportunity for interested
parties that are not part of the formal proceedings to express
their views.
