MyStClair Gets A NEW Look!
======================================================

======================================================
Well,
the new MyStClair site is now up (actually it's been up
for a while but this is our official announcment).
First
of all is the new look, which we believe represents a real
step up. Not only does it look better but it should make
it much easier to find your way around. Many thanks to David
Urbonas for making it happen (he can make your site look
good too - let us
know if you're interested).
We
are planning a section for kids (and their parents), other
directories, a section dealing with historic facts and historic
sites in our neighbourhoods. If you have an idea for a section
let us know.
We
will also be unveiling some contests in the next few weeks
- as well as other features, like polls and discussion
forums.
You
will also notice that we will be trying to keep the home
page as current as possible - feel free to contribute
items of interest, photos, stories.
The 'old' features
you have come to expect are all still there - just with
a new look:
You
will also recognize that there is a lot of space available
for advertising - and so if you would like to have your
message seen in the neighbourhood, this
is the place to do it - it's better than posting it
on a telephone pole and less expensive then sending out
flyers.
As
you can see, we have extended the new look to our email
newsletter - and there will be advertising
opportunities here too.
As
the ad says - MyStClair is YourStClair - so get involved.
Judging
by the comments we've received
so far, people really seem to like the site - and hopefully
you will all like the new site even more.
On
that note, we'd like to thanks all those who helped get
MyStClair this far - to make it the best website, in the
best community, in the best city in the best country in
the world. You can see who you are by clicking
here.
